how long do video's take to upload to YouTube

as stated, ive been waiting for atleast 1 hour to upload a 4 minute video. wtf, ive never uploaded to youtube, but i know photobucket takes long as hell too.

anything over 100MB is going to take a long time. If you only have 512Kb up speeds, your only getting about 30-50KB u/l rates. on 100MB file thats about 45mins figuring 40KB/sec upload speeds. You might see 50-70 on faster connections. So an hour on 150MB is about right

Really hard to answer. Sorta reminds me of the "how many db'z" will I hit.

It is going to depend on your upstream, the current load on youtube and any compression and such that may be screwing with it.

Only takes me a couple of minutes to do like 50mb. But I do have a 2mb upstream.

i tried it with firefox, it took like 15 minutes and now it says "uploaded (processing, please wait)", so i guess this is the final uploading stage. is this the part that takes the longest? its been doing this for about 15 minutes now too

nevermind! its uploaded. i refreshed the page, looks like it took about 15 minutes total
