How is an alpine iDA-X305 headunit with imprint for sound quality?

Bought an Alpine iDA-X305 head unit and PXA-H100 IMPRINT Processor locally for a great price (impulse buy).... Set everything up and it sounds great but im just curious if i can get more out of my elates and sub with a different unit.

How does this headunit and imprint compare to the Alpine 9887, pioneer 80prs, etc? Close to the same league or not? (in terms of sound quality, not add ons). Would it be worth to upgrade?
