How in the heck do you mount a FI Q 18"

I just got my Fi Q 18" today and went to mount it but the holes are covered up by the surround.... Do I have to remove the rubber on the outside of the sub or how do I do this?

Yes there are holes in the trim ring.

Drill holes to where it lines up with the ones on the trim.

there are also holes in the basket you just need to find them and line up the holes on the gasket ,it shouldn't be to hard

I think he means that the surround is covering the holes on the basket. I can remember getting a sub a few years back and had that issue, just had to drill them out.

I bet the gasket holes aren't lined up with the basket holes. take the gasket off and see...
