Ahhhh thanks man. I am running 2 now off of a JBL GTO 1201.1 II amp that sees a 2-3ohm load. Its suppose to do 1200wrms@2ohm. Should I crank up the gain and let em wang like azbass says? I just don't want to kill em because the is the most I've ever spent on a system (about $1000 now and counting) and if they crap out in 6 months I'll be super pissed. BTW they are daily drivers so if that makes any difference... azbass- If I can crank em up to the max this amp can dish out, they will be the loudest subs Ive ever heard... They really like the 25-60hz range. Any lower or higher they start to distort. I am honestly disappointed in the ranges they hit, but they are 18"s, and they will hit way different than a 12" or 15" (which I was kinda hoping for ) They really are not music subs in the fact they don't have the dynamics for it, if you want to play low tones loud, these are for you, not for music IMHO... Ive yet to hook up my mids/highs amp so well see how much that helps and how they perform with that going.... Thanks for the quick responses everyone
