how exactly to convert from side terminals to post terminals

ive got an 02 grand am, the battery has side terminals and it is a PAIN in the *** to run ring terminals on these

i know they make adapters, but what are the best ones to get? and the main ring terminal comes cased in a rubber holster, do i just rip this out/cut it off?

you could probably go with some thing like this its a cheap scosche one but i shure if you look you could find a better one

if it makes a difference, my car, my moms and my dads all use them... they work pretty good.. I haven't had any voltage drops because of them.
