When you guys buy or sell subwoofers, how do you normally ship them? It doesn't seem like a cardboard box would hold a 30lb. subwoofer so I'm looking for suggestions. I thought about building a box out of plywood, just like a sealed box, mount the woofer in it, then take wood around the outside lip to lift it up another inch or so and putting a top on it but that would weigh a lot. Any suggestions?

I keep the box they came in. Then when I sell them I put it back in that box and tape it up.

cover the sub with a trash bag, set the sub in the box your shipping it in...and foam seal it up

nah, you can build a crate for it...
