How do you tell the strength of a motor?

Would you go by the BL(telsa force) and if so what would be a good BL so SPL, SQL, and SQ. I am just trying to find out whether I should keep the motors that I have left over from my Orion P Series, the BL on these motors are 23.37, or somewhere relatively close. Are these good motors? I was thinking about getting them reconed by FI or AQ and using them as a HT setup. But if the motors are not good then I am not even going to waste my time or money.

Bl is motor strength.

A measurement that by itself is pretty meaningless.

Also, if you have the driver reconed the Bl is going to change since it's a function of both the magnetic flux density in the gap (the "B") aswell as the length of wire in the gap (the "L"). So, obviously, if you change the voice coil you are going to change the "L" portion of the calculation B * L, and hence arrive at a different Bl value.

Bl is also not going to tell you how "good" a motor is.
