how do you make an MP3 disc?

my eclipse has MP3 capabilities, and id like to know how to format a disc so it can play songs in MP3 format. I burned 200 songs on a disc in MP3 format, but it wouldnt play, how do i do this?

Your burning software should have an option to make an "MP3" or "Data" CD...

You just create a data cd and put mp3's on it...... maybe you need to place them all in a folder on the cd? Some manufacturers are weird with that stuff.

the owners manual says...

"the format of discs to be used must be ISO9660 Level 1 or Level 2."

what does that mean

edit: the manual also says "supported bit rate: 8,16,24,32,40,48,56,64,80,96,112,128kbps"

so that means i cant burn an MP3 disc b/c all my files are 192kbps and more??

Don't worry about it...follow your prompts on your program to burn a data CD, and if it doesn't work that way, then fiddle around with the settings.

For that you need to go into the settings in the burning software and see if you can change the default "data" cd format. ISO 9660 is just a standard used in the PC industry.

You will need to make downsampled copies to put on disc it sound slike to me.
