How do you feel about running kicker crv's. I am going to be putting 2 10's in my truck and only i have 4.5" of mounting depth to use. I was planning on running the crv's but would like some info/opinions. Also some ideas on what else would be good that would fit. Not looking for competition stuff but a good sounding sub for all around music as I listen to a bunch of different kinds. Thanks in advance. Eric

I use this story alot. But my friend had a 98 s10 regular cab with three CVR tens behind the seats. Sealed box. It got really loud.

They like sealed boxes, just not as much as a ported box.

Trust me, It will get loud of you give them the right amount of power.

Sorry but i forgot the CVR's with the mounting depth I need are 8" at 4 5/16". So i'm leaning towards 8". I lookied into the l5 and might be able to make a ring to bring the mounting depth to fit the l5 at 4 11/16". Or the jl w3 8 is 4.31 mounting depth but is more expensive than the l5's.
