How do i remove the factory 6 disk cd player from an 03 ranger? I can the dash part off but the radio is stuck to the dash part. how do i get it off that

Get din tools from BB or somewhere, stick them in the 2 little holes on each side and pull like a mother ****er.

Or if your cheap you can use a metal hanger.

you dont have to pull very hard if you use them correctly

Get a metal hanger, cut 2 pieces that are about 5 inches long, bend them in the middle to make a 'U' like that, stick them in the holes and make sure they lock in place and pull.

well if you have that piece of the dash out on the sides of the radio directly behind the holes in it you should be able to see the metal clips that are holding it in. They are kinda spring loaded thingy's. Just push in on them and slide the radio out through the front of the dash.

Just cut a coat hanger into two 8"-10" pieces and bend them into a U.

The 8-10" piece method is the best, just once they are inserted and you can feel that they are in the clips, pull the two piece into a spreading outward motion while at the same time pulling towards you and the deck should slide right out.
