How do I file a Paypal claim?

Well, I hooked up the power to my battery and to my 1200d I just got in the mail.

Hooked up the ground to the amp and all of the fuses blew.

I went to a local car audio shop and asked what the deal was.

He said that it is the amp that was already blown when I got it.

Is this correct? If so, I need to know how to file a claim on Paypal.

There is a section on your paypal login you just have to look for it, i would contact the seller first give them a chance to do something

I bought an amp on ebay over the summer and when I received it, the amp was packaged in a HUGE oversized box and had a few sheets of newspaper as padding. I also hear rattling inside and open it up (half the screws were already missing) and a capacitor was rolling around as well as some other things that looked like it had a hack repair job. I contact the seller and he said since I opened it, I voided warranty and there was nothing he could do. He got me pissed so I filed a complaint with paypal with detailed pictures of the mail fraud he commited. I wanted all my money back plus return shipping (he charged me $20) since it was a broken item. Paypal gets back to me two weeks later and tells me if I want my money then I would have to pay return shipping. Screw him and Paypal!!!

He kept saying that I opened up the amp and voided warranty even though pictures show that the board had already been damaged and that it was the only way to get to the fuses. What a douche.

Well, I sent him the message yesterday and he was on this morning.

Obviously he has no care.

So, I didn't want to do it this way to Joe, but I'm going to now.

Waiting 4 months for a blown amp.. ehhhh

If you used a CC call them instead. Paypal will only give you what the guy has in his account, if he cleaned it out, you'll get squat.

first off.....there is no possible way that a stereo shop could prove that the amp was blown when you got it.......seeing as how you admittedly tried to hook it up before they ever saw the amp.

2nd off.... i would be pissed off and probably be talking to the seller and see what his attitude is before i filed a claim

i can't really tell you how to handle this, but i do hope you get it straightened out bro
