I have a 1999 F-150 single cab. What class would I be in. How do i test my system to see if it is even good enough to enter a comp? Please guys i aint familiar with these competitions but i would love to get involved, so give me all the info that you can!!
Your class is determined by how much equiptment you have, and it's different for some divisions. Check out termpro for the DBDrag rules. You can enter and I'm pretty sure there's no minimum score. It's always fun to see what you'll hit, and learn some things regardless of how loud you are.

What does your system consist of?

they put you in classes depending on the equipment your running but if you want to go by the truck...i got a 94 ford f-150 single cab...wanna compete //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
my system consists of 2 12'' audiobahn cubs a 1000watt hitron ampi dont plan on competing until i get a better amp and im getting a probox. I am also going to try and build a fiberglass enlosure to put 2 8'' under the seats
and i dont really want to compete against you just yet but what is your system in the 94 ford
With that setup you'll be in Street B most likely. Not to discourage you, but you're going to get DOMINATED. But it's still fun to go, no matter what you hit.
well i will redo my entire system just tell me what i should get that would be easy to win with i am going to order a probox at n & r of dalton tomorrow so tell me if i need 10s or 12s what amp i would like to stay under $600
How much are you going to spend on that box? With the amount of money you have to spend, as much as I hate to add to the hype, you probably would be best with an Alpine Type R. Instead of buying that box you could have Tcab make you one, get a type r for cheap and an amp. You would be hard pressed to get any louder with that amount of money.

the box will cost 150i can sell the subs amo and box i have now and that would add aroungd 250 so i guess i could spend about 850 instead of 600 are the Type R as good as ive heard. From what i understand some hate them but yet there are others that wouldnt trade them for anything. How many watts are the 12'' Type R rated?
You should go to
http://www.thecaraudiobox.com and submit a quote. His aim name should be on the website as well. If you can catch him on AIM and let him know what kind of car you have he should be able to reccomend some things. His box will probably be slightly more expensive than that one but it will be MUCH MUCH better. See if you can talk to him.
i requsted a quote man the videos of some of his boxes being used are crazy. How does the box make such a difference. I dont know if he can make a box so small with a port though but i hope so
