Everyone is building Sonosubs.
How come Sonosubs [http://dustin.bunnyhug.net/pics/driverampangle.jpg ]
are called Sonosubs?
Because they make them out of Sonotubes, a registered trademark of the
SONOCO Products Company who makes these fiber cylinders for the construction industry.

What happens if I use the same fiber cylinders but ones made by Quikrete ?
Would my subwoofer be called a Quiksub ?
I could use an ordinary plywood cylinder, call it a Plysub ?
What if there is no enclosure for my sub? Noboxsub ?
