How boston pro 6x9's use to sound.

This is kinda far fetched, but I was wondering if anyone on here ever owned a set of boston accoustic pro 6x9's about ten years ago. I just bought a set of the new pro 6.5 components and wondering if they are going to be able to perform as well as the old ones I had. I know they are different, but what I can remember is running the old ones with a hifonnics 120watt amp and they were so loud, I could barely sit in the car with it turned up. (no distortion, at least from what I remember)

Anyway, I am just currious.
