How big of an amp should i get?

I have 2 10" svc 4 ohm subs.They are rated at 450 rms.

I am going to run these as a 2 ohm to a 1 channel amp but what i dont understand is do i want an amp that has a max 900rms at 2ohm or 450rms 2ohm.

This stuff confuses me

if they are each 450rms, then 900rms would be your best bet.

If they are 450rms together, then...450rms would be your best bet
