Waffle House used to be the late-night eatery of choice for those with big appetites as they once offered an All You Can Eat deal of pretty much anything on the menu for like 5 bux. You could get burgers, salads, breakfast food, whatever and however much of it ya wanted. It's been quite some time since they offered that at the Waffle Houses here and their business has suffered greatly for it. Outside of that....I dunno. We just have a thing for breakfast foods here? IHOP is gaining in popularity over Waffle House by leaps and bounds....

They do that with more than just chicken

So, basically, it's deep-fried veal ... gotcha ...

I am well aware that yard-bird has no monopoly on getting battered and deep-fried but it's generally (in this part of the Northern Hemisphere at any rate) what is most commonly thought of first when you're talking battered, deep-fried foods.

I like Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, although I'm not too fond of the neighborhood it's in. The one I went to is in the LBC.
