The Radioshack SPL meter is not a POS, it just isn't designed to measure a lot of SPL. It is more for ambient noise and home theater calibration and volume level matching.Dont they sell those like Microphone meters at wal-mart or radioshack that top out at like 130db.... do they have those pieces of shit?
Ok you have a valid argument so i will shut my mouth //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThe Radioshack SPL meter is not a POS, it just isn't designed to measure a lot of SPL. It is very impressive to be able to hit 130dB with a home theater while sitting in the listening position. They are accurate enough but they do need to be calibrated if you drop it or abuse it, and my guess is the police aren't too concerned about a $30 piece of equipment.
If he told that i would be likeCops here are their own db meters. for instance if they feel like pulling you over even if you weren't even bassing hard, they will make up some retarded number and say "you were doing over 150db's" and if you argue it you will get resisting arrest.
