anyone could go drop mega $$$ on big fancy 4000 watt amps and top o the line subs but ive got a bunch of older stuff, mostly lower end stuff ive had for years and picked up for next to nothing and im thinking of putting it ALL to use in a toyota pickup with a shell. just kinda curious to see what kinda replies i get but heres what im thinking.

first a list of equip.

subs-

2 8" lanzar max

2 10" rockford XLCs

2 10" cerwin vega V-MAX

2 10" mtx thunder 5510

2 12" mtx thunder 4000

1 12" rockford hx2 (4 ohm dvc)

1 12" rockford hx2 (2 ohm dvc)

1 12" re se (4 ohm dvc) (soon to get another)

amps-

1 os cobalt 230

2 os cobalt 260

2 os rockford 500a2

1 os rockford 160a2

1 mtx rt 2200

1 mtx tc 300.1

1 kicker 400.1

mids-highs and the like

1 pair planet audio 2 way 4"

1 pair eclipse 2 way 4x6"

1 pair rockford 3 way 6x9"

5 pairs of tweeters (the cheap a$$ ebay kind)

curious to hear ideas/opinions in a setup for all this. like i said i know i could go buy 2 fi 18s, a couple fancey component sets and 2 big high power amps and prob. sound way better/louder but that costs lots o cash and i allready have all that other stuff so lets hear it....

prob. not all of it, thats just what i have to work with. the mtx 10s or the cerwin vega 10s and kicker amp are going in the wifes truck.

the xlc 10s and the 4" and 4x6" are all ready in the cab of the truck. what i was thinking of doing is putting the mtx 12s in a bandpass box (custom) and running the xlc 10s and mtx 12s with 1 punch 500, then getting another re se 12" and putting the 2 in a ported box with the other punch 500 untill i get a bigger amp, adding the 6x9s and the 8s running full range with the mtx 2200 and maybe a pair or 2 of the tweeters. the truck is not a daily driver, im not going for a competition system or anything(obviously), just a bunch of stuff i have and thinking about messing around with.

Put the SE's on the biggest amp you have and a pair of components up front off of a smaller amp...There is no need to use all that **** in one install...

I say put EVERYTHING in...

fiberglass all the subs in 1 box ( chambered of course ) and put a toggle switch on each pair alike... * Like a sound room @ an Audio shop *

Pur all the speakers in... everydoor, pillar, kicks, etc. and do the same with the toggle switch.

sell it all

go buy a nice 380 or 9mm
