Hospital for Flu??

One of my cousins I just found out today had to go to the hospital for the flu. I didn't get to find out much info at all other then he had to go to the hospital. How serious can that be?? I've had the flu before several times, but I've never had to go to the hospital. How long can someone stay in the hospital for having really bad flu symptoms??

I know the flu can be really serious for older people, but my cousin is only 24, so I'm a little worried and confused.

Could be menangitis. If its only been a day or so it could be that. The syptoms are just like a flu,so peopel don't take it serious.

You seriously may want to have them check and see if they have menangitis(or mengacocol or something like that)

The Flu is so dangerous b/c it can most definitely open the door to Pneumonia. Trust me I know I got it when I was a kid! That shit sucks and can really weaken your body. I survived of course ( thanks to antibiotics and a shitload of hydrotuss //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) but it kills a lot of elderly and really young children.
