hoq to get for power out of my 6x9's

hello everyone well i currently own an 87 porsche 944 and i recently put four (4)

6x9 five (5) way 490 watt pioneers

and their connected to i think a 400 wat amp (its called "the mean machine" by autotek) its a mt31 sumthin sumthin but anyways i have them in a box that takes up the whole rear hatch. how can i get more power out of them
