Yea, thats Mecha Godzilla
Finally I have a link to a refutable source that says the MAC OS isn't the fucking best invention since sliced bread.

I have always hated MAC poeple because they are hippies and think they're better than everyone else just like jerks that drive Prius'. (Think "smug" episode of South Park) If you're reading this from a MAC, turn it off, it's creating a carbon footprint bigger than one made from a Hummer.

I had used PLENTY of MAC PCs in my day as that's all my high school had and I took many computer-based classes. I knew damned well that the MAC OS could be crashed and buggy just like Windows, but still I would hear "Oh I think my next computer will be a MAC, they never crash" to which I'd say "yes, they do. I've seen it many, many times."..... but being dumbass hippies, they'd say something that basically broke down to "you're lying to me". "Yes I'm lying to you, asshole."

So now Mac saw that they would never ever make any money on a computer unless they got more software made to work on it, and what happens? The shitty software causes crashes and bugs.

He's a link to the site....... sounds pretty shitty that you cannot copy some files without the OS destroying it.

/rant (I've been harboring this anger for almost 15 years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif )

Oh and before some hippy Mac user says anything smart-*** like "why did it take 15 years to find a good source to an arguement?"

Well it's because it's very well established that MACs were the choice for artists and other hippy creative types because it uses Helvetica font and other bullshit so all the web designers...even the one at the link.... design their stuff on Macs and therfore, love them.

I've had a mac crash on me before, but it was only because the hd was COMPLETELY used up. They are pretty reliable in terms, but I don't think I could stand not being able to upgrade it or play games.

I have used both macs and windows (as well as some linux) and prefer windows (even though I loathe microsoft). I used to have a fair amount of faith in the mac os but this is very troubling to me.

Perhaps the most troublesome of the problems has been a data loss issue caused by Finder, which performs a function on Macs similar to that of Explorer in Windows. In Leopard, when Finder moves a file from one drive to another, it deletes the file from the originating hard drive, without first checking to see if the file arrived safely on the destination hard drive. If anything goes wrong during the file transfer, such as a momentary power glitch on the destination hard drive, the file would then be destroyed on both hard drives.
Is it just me or is it utterly insane to delete a file prior to having any confirmation that the file was received intact at it's destination? I mean jesus christ how hard is to incorporate some error checking into the process to ensure that things like this don't happen. Guess I might stop looking at that mac book pro.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

lol hippies. stupid hippies. you are a man after my own heart.

I have a Macbook Pro for school, but it's not without it's problems. I want to run BootCamp (which allows you to partition your HD to run Windows and Mac) so that I can get the best of both worlds

I wouldn't trust bootcamp very much, but that's just me.
