Hooking up dvd to pc monitor

I have a portable dvd player with a 7" screen i was wondering if there is any way to hook it up to a computer monitor the dvd hase usb port , and component video and a few other ouyput's, don't konow because i don't have it right now. So just let me kno if you know a way to hook it up perferably inexpinsive thanks

S-Video to VGA Adaptor

That looks like it runs out of the computer, not into a monitor.

1) It's an S-Video TO VGA adaptor

2) Since the S-Video end is female, which implies that it plugs into an S-Video cable.

3) S-Video output on graphics cards are fairly common these days.

I thought they wanted to hook their dvd player TO a monitor, not hook computer to dvd player?
