ya, you can get the power much cheaper

but i think their whole objective was not only creating an amp that large, but an amp that large that draws a relatively small amount of current, only 200-300A, because it has tons of internal capacitance.

I'd take one.

The amp draws 300 amps of current. Pretty efficient if you ask me. Also, it's built and Steve had it last time I heard until Chicken was ready to do the install.
