Hollow and when it hit the lows the box flexed and the sub was like dancin, dude didn't want to build a box so he used a carboard box with 2 cubes of airspace.

Haven't you heard? Those holes are there to "let the bass out." You just cut it off on the corner and it is better than a ported box.

Maybe he should cut holes in the top of his head to let the stupid out.
