No it won't be that bad. parallel each pair to make them 4 x 4 ohm sets then you can series 2 pairs each for a 8 ohm load paralled to the other set to drop it to a 4 ohm load. or as mentioned above 8 x 8 ohm subs all parallel 1 ohm mono.

6 dvc subs = 12 voice coils FTW

uuumm...... WOW. I was under the impression that the rfp3810 was a SVC driver. Does that still make 8 of them a 1 ohm load? If so.... would the 8 of them be better/louder than 2 ported Type R's? Provided i will only be using 1 BX1500D? I can get both setups for under 200 bucks. Figured id ask!

To get the ohm load in parellel, divide the coil impedence by the number of coils

8/8=1
