Asked experienced people and such. They all have said it can only help you. That the alternator is capable of putting out that much amperage but only uses what is needed. But you would have to upgrade the wire from the Alternators post to the batter post i believe. If im not mistaken, its part of the "BIG 3" upgrade. I havent installed my alternator yet due to no system installed at the moment.  But as i said, anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong</p></blockquote><p></p>
