What is the mounting depth of the AA Assassin 8?

Funny you ask. I asked over at SSA the official forum for AA and Scott Atwell answered the post with all the mounting depths for the Assassin line up except the 8, he didn't have that driver at his house when he measured them for me.

So I'm gonna guess at around 4.75 to 5.5 inches.

The PG is doing great.

I had a little system noise and I think the amp was osillating? from a ground loop causing some feedback, but I basically ripped all wiring out of my truck, redid grounds for everything, new speaker wire throughout the whole truck other new wires - grounds etc...

Noise from that amp fixed...Works perfectly.

Now the JBL 300.4 I have has a little hiss and I did everything I could to trouble shoot it and it came down the amp.

Oh yeah bro, that amp is great. Pretty much perfect condition, end caps too.

The amp is perfect for wiring configurations also. Just about any sub or combination of subs can be wired to 2 or 4 ohms and it puts out the same power at both. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Not certain if that meants they are not intended for sealed or not??? You may want to clear that up as well?

Have you decided on a sub? I'm considering the same thing to do 4 8's in my crewcab as well. Curious on what else you have found?
