If any one would be smart enough(mainly directed to eugedick) you ask any smart business teacher, any college teacher, they will tell you the same thing i tell you guys. Its not something u NEED when you can ride the bus no offese, and quit all the gangsta bullshit i dont know when i said that i was a gangsta, so stfu already its getting old.

bus or rides, in my case, I could have even rode my bike. Of course there are extreme cases where its not a bad idea to get a loan for a car, but usually people do it just to be able to get that latest cool looking car when a cheaper used car they could have paid for in cash and lasted just as long.

i understand where your coming from. but not all of us want to (or can) ride the bus where were going. and not all of us mind losing a small amount of money to get something ahead of time

Its not loosing money... its just that you DONT HAVE TO get a 25g car... when all you need is one to get you to work. If ya got 1g then get a 1g car then work ur *** off and then buy the 25g car, might take a while but its better knowing that that knowing u own a bank 25g. Of course you wouldnt understand, all u do is bash people for something they didnt even say.

Any car can break down at any time. Do some research, know what you're buying, and your 1 grand car should be able to last just as long as a 4 grand car. My regal is still going strong at 200k miles, you know why? I did alot of research, talked to my uncle who owns a service center and could tell me what are the most reliable cars.

the whole reliability is not the only factor you figure on when buying a car....there's also other things you take into consideration......for me one of the main things i consider is the gas mileage since i drive 30miles a day to work..... now if i didnt care about taht at all i'd have bought something nice like my g/f's 89 crown vic w/ a v8 that i could get for around 1k......but i found a truck that was a 4cyl. and got around 30mpg for about 3g......but i guess im wrong for not having that amount to pay in cash right?

not all of us want to be seen in a 1k dollar car.. just like you dont want to be seen in clothes that arn't name brand (and im not even bashing you, just making a point). clothes are a horrible investment, but i think just about of us are guilty of spending more then we would have to at say... walmart

Your guys opinion on this topic is jaded. To have a mid lvl income and live in this country, a line of credit is a requirement. You have to have a credit score to be able to live. If you want to rent a house/apartment, rent/buy a car. Buy anything for that matter you need credit.

I agree in the not buying yourself in to debt, and only buy something you want if you can afford it. But there are certain instances you need credit, or a loan. Like buying a new car.

well in that case your right, they shouldn't have spent that money... but just because theres a few dumbasses that can't handle the responsibility dosen't mean its not a good idea. with a loan comes responsability, see where im coming from?
