Hillary Clinton!

To be honest the Democratic primary process is flawed. The republicans pick their nominee based upon the general election model; if you win the state you win all of the delegates. There are no caucauses and there is no division based upon districts.
Anyone who wins California, Texas, NY, FL, Ohio, and Pennsylvania is 100% guranteed the nomination. She is hanging on because she won these states and is marginally behind in delegates and popular votes. I gurantee your *** woudn't quit if you were that close and you had $180 million + worth of funds raised. You'd work your little couchie off to make the strongest showing possible.
couldnt agree more lol.

Wasn't Obama not even on the ballot in Florida? And she wants them all.
I like how people get heated about this.

I like Obama, but I like McCain too.

It's clear that Hillary has lost, stronger candidate or not. She just wasn't ready I think. She just doesn't come off as like able.
listen you dumb fuk he chose to remove his name from Mich and he was on the ballot in FL where he got his arse kicked. If he loses Ohio and FL in the general election he is sunk.

I don't think he will win either. If he can't beat Hillary, he can't beat McCain. More Hillary voters would vote for McCain over Obama....the exit polls reveal this.

I am willing to bet they are going to join forces and lose to McCain.

Both Clinton and Obama agreed to not campaign in Florida and Michigan since the DNC said those primaries were not going to count due to those states' Demo parties trying to jump the gun. Both candidates were fine with this back then. What changed? Hillary is losing and now wants to change the rules...LOL! That is like so Republican!

Knetucky and West Virginia are full of racist redneck whites and they're going for McCain in November in any case. Oregon is mostly white but it's not full of illiterate poverty-stricken squirrel-hunting inbreds, so it went for Obama yesterday and it will vote Demo in November.

Yahoo news had an article showing Obama leading McCain by 8 this morning. The Elephants are DOA and the Donkeys will rule the roost is how this election is going down.

? I knew he wasn't on one. Sorry for guessing wrong shithead.

No doubt he will lose if he doesn't get those states, but I'm simply stating she wants all the delegates even though she was (the only?) one on the ballot.

I think the public opinion of the Republican Party is in such a state of disrepair that the Democrats have a very good shot (whether it is Obama or Hillary) at winning the general election. However, there is a lot of time between now and then...it will be easier to see how things shape up once the Democratic nomination is decided.

The empirically proven "swing states" are important but can't be counted on 100% (see Mississippi). Again, I think more time is needed and two definitive Presidential candidates are decided before we can predict which way people will sway.

As for the Democratic party's electoral process....what a joke. It is the little things like this that hold the Democratic party back from continued success. Whether FL and MI voters will be disenfranchised is yet to be seen (if they really care about the country, they shouldn't feel disenfranchised), but I think granting their votes as cast in the original primaries is a mistake.

It isn't a mistake because the Democratic party rules were broken: it is a mistake because not each politician deserves an equal opportunity to sway voters in those states. Obama is in trouble there if a re-vote is held because he didn't win those states the first go-round and has since been part of a group trying to adhere to the DNC rules, making him even less popular amongst those voters. What should have happened already is that they two nominees would agree to split the votes as proposed by the DNC (on the state and national level), but Hillary has opposed such an agreement.

Hillary Clinton needs to throw in the towel...especially if she wants to try again in 4 or 8 years. Lookin like a little hangin on pissy-pants and not just lettin it go doesn't give her a good image in my eyes.
I think she is trying to throw the election to McCain. That way she can run again in 4 years... who knows? I wouldn't vote for her or Obama.

I don't blame Hillary for continuing. She has garnered the support of a very large percentage of Democrats and has advanced further than any female candidate before her. It is her right to continue the race until she is mathematically eliminated. If we play probability, then she is virtually eliminated already, but she will no doubt continue until there literally is no situation in which she can win.

And yes, I agree that she's looking 4 years ahead at this point. If she has to wait two terms, I think she'll be a bit old for a good shot at it.

I feel the same way.

I think that it would be best though for her to give up, for the country (in her eyes) and for the party.

It's clear that Barrack has almost certainly gained the nomination, and if she really believes in the Democrats, she would give up now. If she doesn't want a republican to rule....i mean serve, then she'd want to give Obama the best chance he can to win.

She can run again, and probably will. She's to proud to let this sway her.
