I visited my dad one day recently at work and he was out test driving a caprice with like 26's on it......or looked like it. Was funny when he pulled in as I was waiting and seen him almost take out the BFI trash compactor as he couldn't stop, lol! I asked him does he need some brakes or something and he said he put those on last week, lawl!

Dumbasses using regular sized rotor's and brakes FTL! He literally missed it by inches! I saw sweat on his forehead when he got out. Stupid nig nogs!

TO add to that last post, those big wheels really dont decrease your stopping abilities eh. I went from alloy OEM 17's to the 20's in my av which are only 26lbs each (some 24's are 40lbs+) and my car stopped like shit

Needless to say I didnt put them on this year, there was definetely some scary situations with them

What was scary and sad, was he was going like 5mph when he pulled in, lawl! He told me he had a couple closer incidents on the road. He thought about calling the local police to stir up some shit since he knows the chief of the town he works in real well as he said it is a death trap waiting to happen. He said he hit 45 mph on a stretch of road with no traffic and it took him forever to slow down, so he creeped it back to the shop.

Tis amazing what people do to their rides to make them stand out, but not give a shit about other people's saftey, let alone their own.

don't know about the stopping thing, I went from 17's to 22's and had no stopping distance issues.

...funny enough, when I roll thru small towns and I have to stop for gas, rednecks tend to ask me how big my wheels are. I don't get this, there are a shit ton of people rolln' bigger rims than I.

Maybe they haven't bleed the brakes? could be a different model car, different weights, How old is the braking system? Judging from the first post, these idiots dont keep up on that stuff, so you get death trapps. I bet they figure it it breaks, go get another... I had a 85 caprice, $500 and a regal 86, $500. Cheaper then repairing a car that old, just go buy a new one....
