This is what I ran my first season with, got a basement full of trophies using this amp. Its got the IRF Fet mod, the protection mod, and some personal touches I did (added 1/2 watt resistors instead of 1/4 watt's) so it takes more abuse during burps. I wont lie, this amp has gone thru alot of abuse, burnt up and then rebuilt again with new parts...its far from being new and it has lots of scars. Its also not really a daily driver amp if you plan to use it for anything under 2 ohms. BUT if you want to compete it will do it, and its pretty much what its been modified for anyways. The amp is rated from the factory as a 4000x1 amp, but in all reality it does about 3200 watt burps and about 2500 for daily (ballpark figures for sure, who really knows now that its been modified, maybe more)
Im asking $225 for it or trade for a eclipse or alpine head unit.....I really just am tired of looking at it and its been sitting in the corner of my office so maybe someone can get use out of it. There is absolutely no guarntee with this amp, its in yours and god's hands after it leaves me, lol....it does work as tested on my 4hp yesterday though. Even comes with free bag of extra parts for it if you ever blow it up.
