yeah i think a-hole meant to say he wished he had 2 of those subs so he can think he can hit 173db, you know it's a total lie when the guy says he has 1 amp and hits 173db, unless you be talking about the new jbl crown that's 10000 watts that might get you some high spl with a couple of subs what do you guys think??

I hit 145.8 dB playing music at the car toys show yesterday and still took first place lol.

lol more_spl .... do you any idea how loud that is??? 160dBs is instant loss of hearing, that means that what you joked about is 100x louder than that!! i don;t think anything in the world can get that loud..

the jbl crown is a new amplifier that jbl is making that is something like 4800watts rms, it takes there awesome technology that they use in there home audio and live music production into car audio. and at 6grand for an amp it's a little steep if you ask me.

140db and 155.4 in outlaw spl, not bad for 1 15 in a sealed box and it being an sq vehicle and all....
