Ok, I figured the title would catch a few eyes ! Forgive my imaturity
anyhow, Im set now, on running a low impedance configuration. Ive purchased 4 subwoofers all of them rated 600Watts RMS :
Now, heres a bit of confusion I have: With all four subs in parrallel each single voice coil at 4 ohms im going to bridge them down to 1 ohm. Although their bridged down that low, the nominal power handling is still 600watts RMS correct ! With this said, I am Considering one of two amps:
A refurbished Orion 225 HCCA for about 160$ , or a brand new Brutus 1500 by Hifonics .
Problem: Ive been highly highly considering a Hinfonics product but man, theres so many post about **HELP WITH MY BRUTUS AMP** , AMPS NOT WORKING , and NO SOUND COMING FROM THE AMP. Either the amps are POS ! and many will argue this as Ive seen numerous people who actively post in here with a brutus amp
((the part about alotta people having them I thought was obsurd.. as long as it fkng hits in my car, I could care less if everyone down the block has the same shit)).
Anyhow... those of you with the amp ! how would you rate it ? power output.. its stability at 1ohm, and the customer service of the company ?? A bad amp doesnt mean bad company if theres excellent customer service behind a willing replacement of the amp.
