I have had 2 12 inch Xplod's, 1 10 inch Solo Baric, and one 12 inch new solo baric and this outperforms them hands down. Wouldnt know about a sealed box but I know it will pound and sound da-mn good. As in an S-10, I dunno for sure, I have a regular cab S-10 and there wasnt much room to put the 10 inch solo baric and the mounting depth on this exceeds the solobaric by alot. The depth on the 8500 is rather deep. Now if you have an extended cab, You might be limited on where you put it. I imagine you would have to take a seat out in the rear</p></blockquote><p></p>
