That fans always have a "hate " against teams or players.. Well maybe not hate, but extreme dislike. Wether it be a big play, a bad play, there attitude, sportsmanship, rivalry, there girlfriend thinks there hot etc..

But you never hear any bad or smack talk about tiger woods.. And yes i have heard people talk shit about golfers, so the sport does have haters too..

On the hypocritical side , TO, and romo should shaft each other

i remember last year for a few days there was shit said about how he flipped out when someone took a picture with a flash while he was putting or something. it was around march of last year.

other than that i think its because, like lebron, its very hard to tear them up because they generally do and say the right thing all the time.... they almost seem perfect.

and there are those few athletes that are just protected. like a michael jordan documentary i own. a bunch of sports writers said until the gambling controversy you didnt want to be the reason why michael jordan got pissed and wouldnt talk to your magazine or tv station anymore so they just never wrote anything bad about him.

But i agree i was never into golf growing up , idk , proballly they were all old and i thought it was boring, but about a year after Tiger came out I started watching alot.. I dont know how he did it but somehow brought excitement to the game of golf ( for me at least ) And actually got me pretty into golf as of late, now that I have some time..

From what i understand, hes very generous, donate millions to charities, always signing autographs after events, and on the courses ( on non events )

he didnt lose any fans over that. thats just retarded. i heard just as many sports analysts commending him for collecting his thoughts as opposed to saying something in the heat of the moment and then having some piss poor apology the next day like most do. in a week no one is going to remember what he did....

on that jordan dvd i just watched the bonus features have all jordans game winning shots. not one of them did he stick around to go shake hands with the other team. he celebrated with his team and ran off the court.

you know, van gundy didnt shake any of the cavs hands.... but did anyone say anything about that and call him a poor sport, nope......
