Here's my box...now what?

My headunit is in place, and I just put in my box. (Downfire, 2 10", made by AE) Here's a picture of the closest thing I can find.

Now, I just need to decide on a amp/sub setup. I know I want two 10" subs. Was looking into the Polk Momos...but I really have no idea.

Looking to maybe spend 300-400 total after for both the subs and an amp.

SKA and rap is really all I listen to.

I knew the reply wouldn't be helpful, but at least it let ya know I was still around the forums.

TBH I hadn't thought they mattered THAT much. I'll get that done asap.

You really cant just go throwing any subwoofers into any box without doing at least a little math and matching, that is unless you dont care if your equipment sounds like crap or if you damage or destroy it.

Haven't picked an amp yet either. Wanted to figure out which subs I Wanted first.

Budget is 300-400$ before installation.

and op.. i think some of the best bang for your buck subs would be the memphis pr's... they are like $70 a piece and hit pretty good for the money.. rms is 250 so for 2 of them you will need to find an amp that puts out 500-700 rms between the two of them

Today is much less rainy and a bit more bright so I'm gonna have the inside measured as soon as I get home from school.

Will i spend more than 400? Sure, but preferably not. It'd have to be worth it. But I really would still like to see my options at the 400 level.

In that space you could fit a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 10's

They can be had for the cheap used, probably (120-130 shipped)

Also Boston g1, g2s and g5's all work very well in small enclosures.

All the G series subs 10" models need only .5ft^3ea to work

So depending on how much power you want to use.....

G1's like 200-250 RMS

G2's can take 300-400 RMS

G3's can handle 400-600 RMS

G5's can handle 600-750 RMS
