yup a point syncronous speaker. its about 2.5" mounting depth. just a hair over. you can remove the tweeter but since they are going into kicks they are staying put.Mmmmm! Nice and beefy..
What's the mounting depth on them? Also, are these the speakers with the tweeter built-in where the dust cap should be? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
you always have these amazing iasca stories. i enjoy them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.giflol just done it (more so been around it) before. that perfect 40 car had a set of oz co ax moutable 6.5"s that would run 20-20k as those were the only speakers turned on in the whole car (the year after it did the perfect 40) and another guy used the aria (which these are basically just a few minor improvements with the cone. aria were fultron which fultron is now memphis). he won back too back iasca finals with them.iirchis ran from 40-45 ish to 20k maybe as high as 50 hz. they are a pretty dry nuetral speaker sq wise. im an imaging nut is the reason why i got them. its alot easier for me to tune when everything sounds like its in the right place.
