What i find funny is...
People are so quick to call islam a "peaceful religion" and that the people who blow themselves up are "extremists"..
Yet when christians come out and try to show people what they believe in....they are called bible beaters, extremists, close minded, etc.
Look up the movie "healing rain" on youtube by michael w smith. Good song if youre christian, but the last part is why i mention it.
the believers walk out into the street...and are shown in color, while everyone else stands on the sidewalk in black and white watching.
i, and other believers, will be condemned and criticized for what we believe, simple as that. the funny part is, Jesus already told us this is going to happen. it was written, so we were forewarned. i have my believe. you may disagree, thats fine. im not even going to try to convince you. i may tell you my beliefs, and share with you some of them, but if you disagree, respectfully disagree.
simply put, people respond to religion so harshly, because of what it entails...
mainly because
a.) its the internet, there are no consequences of what you say.
b.) they're immature assholes, who think what they have to say matters more than anything anyone else says.
i am a christian. i don't like christian forums.com. they are very narrow minded there, i've been banned like 5 times...lmao...because i went against other members' traditional beliefs, they had no answers, and they banned me.
the guys article was a little narrow minded. in my belief, he is right, but came across completely the wrong way.
