Hercules XX for 12" RE XXX?

hey guys im just curious if anyone has hooked up a hifonics hercules xx to a 12" xxx

i know that the RMS for the xxx is 1600, and the hercules puts out 2000w. will i be safe with the hercules or is that pushing it too much? keeping in mind i will not be using it for competitions and such

What ohm load will you be trying to put on the herc it is only 1 ohm stable, but if you run it at the right ohm load you should be fine you just won't be pushing the subs to its fullest.

If you are talking about the old XXX or even the new one. It will be fine. In the right enclosure it will handle 2000+ watts.

Or you could just turn the gain down

i have the ported enclosure that re audio specifies on their site, and yes it will be 1 ohm

Just set the gain for the speakers RMS and you will not have to worry.
