I just connected 3 12" Kicker L'7's with a 2100 watt brutus hifonics amplifer. I did smell like something was burning I turned them off checked the problem seems like my wires that connected from the amp to the box were too weak as they almost melted together. I replaced the wirings now, I can play a couple minutes at a stand still, but once I get to driving it seems like they cut out either immediately or whenever I raise the volume a bit. They seem to work at low levels but cut out as soon as I raise the volume one of the subwoofers even sounds blown or damaged. But at lower levels all 3 of them sound normal, I can even raise the volume and get about a minute of play with them all sounding normal. They are connected in a 2011 Chevy Tahoe if that means anything, I did notice my battery gauge when they hit I have less then 14 when they are off I have more then 14 volts also I noticed the people who installed it did not scratch the metal in my truck in order to ground it to bare metal. Not sure if any of this helps, but please help me figure this out its driving me crazy. [QUOTE="shadow028, post: 8392667, member: 666164"] Someone help me please!!! I just connected 3 12" Kicker L'7's with a 2100 watt brutus hifonics amplifer. The first day they were working great, the second day I had to replace the terminal on the subwoofer box, they worked great again for a couple more hours.
