I think my post was waaaaay too long and garbled. I've spent 7 hours requiring and testing different connections for my LOC. In case anyone stumbles on this, these were my results: Main Bose amp has the Sub output going to Sub amp. This connection tested at RCA was 1.4V Bose SUB AMP output connection tested at RCA was .50V. Tomorrow I'm going to test voltage coming straight from the Headunit by tapping the rear speakers, but from what I've read, the bass notes aren't as good. I'm sure a higher end LOC might do something to make it a cleaner sound, but I really don't know. My main concern is for 500w rms, the Sub isn't hitting as loud as it should unless I turn the gain up about 3/4 of the way. I know a higher RCA voltage would mean a lower gain, but I think I might be wired as best as I can. Sub cone is getting pretty warm. Maybe this rambling will help someone one day searching for answers. The AV manual was my best friend btw. Cheers.
