I have made a box for my sub and used sealant around all the corners and edges and also around the terminal cups. The only problem is that once I put in the sub, a small amount of air is passing in and out of the box around the edge of the sub. Does this matter? (There is very little air leaking out and in). Do suggest that I use sealant around the edge of the sub? Also, the screws that hold in the sub are pushing against the inner lip of the sub (not the rubber surround but the very hard rubber ring between the rubber surround and the outer metal edge. The screws are making a slight bump on the inner side of the hard rubber ring. I'm pretty sure that the movement of the sub is not effected but would it be a good idea to get screws with smaller heads.
