just use a jigsaw with some sand paper and a bit of elbow grease. thats all i do and they come out great. i usually try to aim them about 3~5" in front of the OPPOSITE passangers chin twoard the window. but try whatever sounds best. just stick them aiming that way sitting in a blanket to soak up the backwaves and play them at low volume levels and aim them differently - AND SWITCH THE PHASE ON EACH SPEAKER, both (driverside+)(passangerside+), then (driverside+)(passangerside-), then (driverside-)(passangerside+) then (driverside-)(passangerside-). basically just make both speakers hook up correctly to the amp, look at the terminals and hook them up like they should be. then listen for a while. then take the passanger side speaker, and flip the terminals so the speaker is "negative" and listen some more. then flip the driver side, and listen, then flip the passanger side and listen. and go back to what sounded the best that will tell you how to aim them. you are trying to make it sound like the music is comming from in front of you (like on the hood of the car) and up from the "mid windshield". have fun
