A protect circuit resets every time your remote lead quits giving +12 (when your head unit shuts off). If you turned the ignition off and the head unit went off, and turned it back on, you reset the protect circuit if there was one and it was engaged. Also, just because an amp has a protect circuit doesn't mean it is invincible. If your under hood fuse is in tact, I'm pretty certain you blew the amp.</p></blockquote><p></p>
