Message: <blockquote data-quote="temuchan" data-source="post: 5236782" data-attributes="member: 602086">Hey i have a sony xplod amp, i got a good deal on it lol, and it used to work fine.  Yesterday everything was working, until i unplugged everything and attached my amp to my sub box.  I plugged everything back in and now it doesn't turn on.  It will turn on briefly if hold the power cable at a certain angle so it touches the amp's power cable screw and it's remote wire screw.  I think the ground and remote wires and thier connections are fine.  The place I think the problem is is where the power wire attaches to the amp.  I tried putting on a new ring terminal but nothing happened.  Did i short out the amp, or where my power cable attaches to it?  Also, i used metal screws to screw my amp to my box, could that have any effect?Thanks in advanced - Matt</blockquote>
