I couldnt tell if the smoke was coming from the amp or the sub ( the amp is on the back of the box ). SO i turn it off and pull over, disconnect the fuse, and inspect the amp and sub. I couldnt tell where the smoke was coming from, the amp was warm but not hot. when i first looked back at the amp when i was driving it sort of looked like the smoke could have been coming from where the power and ground lines hook in. so i then reconnect the fuse and see if the sub will play and I could not get the sub to work.
