Message: <blockquote data-quote="robertspangler" data-source="post: 7669761" data-attributes="member: 552436"><p>i have a 12 inch dc audio xl had it in a box around  2.25 cube but the port was small it was getting somewhat loud but with a db drive pd2000.1 at 1 ohm the sub wasnt as loud as a sa 12 in the same box on 2 ohms from the amp. and every once in a while the sub would cut in and out.  Well today got a new box that is 2.25 cube tuned to 32 hrtz and around has more port area and got a ia 20.1 and the sub doesnt get loud at all and still cuts in and out but when i meter the vc's they both read 2 ohm i dont get what the problem is my voltage never drops below 13 volts but i cant figure it out unless the sub has bad coils or somthing. im gettting so frustrated i just want to get rid of it all.</p></blockquote><p></p>
