Message: <blockquote data-quote="magic_wizard" data-source="post: 704810" data-attributes="member: 551170">thanks for the response.  the battery was not holding charge.  the reason is that when the idiots put the battery in almost a year ago, they lost the bracing and didn't put it back on.  so all this time the battery was banging around with brakes and acceleration.  this will damage the cells on a battery, even an optima yellow top.  i think the whole hu thing was a coincidence.  it didnt take them long at all to put it in.  i also had them recheck the hu wiring and everything, and i looked at it myself too.anyways, i do everything myself these days.  i just had no idea how to put a hu in, so i had someone do it, but it doesn't even look hard at all.  oh well.</blockquote>
