Am I correct in saying the following with a 2 sub configuration... 1. Two dual voice coil 4 ohm subs can be wired to 2 or 8 ohm? I probably won't do this as my amp can't handle the 2 ohm load and the 8 ohm load would get me, what, 200 watts from the amp instead of 300? Not loud enough? 2. Two 2 ohm subs wired in series make a 4 ohm load? In order to do this the subs would have to be dual voice coil subs? Single voice coil would not work right? 3. 2x 8 Ohm speakers wired parallel = 4 Ohm load? This would give me the same performance results as #2 option above? Rockford tells me that despite my amp saying it's 2 ohm stable in bridged mode I should not feed it a 2 ohm load. They said "Did you notice that we don't list specs for the 2 ohm bridged load?" Why even list it if it can't do it? So I guess no matter what I am stuck with feeding it a 4 ohm load either with a single 4 ohm sub or two wired to produce a 4 ohm load. Taking in to account the amp I have what should I go with? Should I go with one 4 ohm 12" sealed or ported sub? Two 2 ohm 12" subs wired in series or two 8 ohm speakers wired parallel? Another option I am leaning towards is rather than make a box I was thinking of going with something ready to go from JL Audio such as the... 1. JL Audio CP112-W0v3: Single 12W0v3 BassWedge, Ported, 4 Ω, http://tinyurl.com/7qvfmen I am really leaning towards the 12W0v3 BassWedge
