As i was home for a few weeks from college i tried to set up my sound system Had it all wired up and working but it sounded like absolutely cr@p! :whatever: So far i had 1 Db audio sub 1200wrms, 4ohm DVC(dont slate me for having db audio ) Running from an Alpine MRD M1005 (It's only 500wrms @ 4ohm tho 1000wrms @ 2ohms Onto the comps at the front. They are Alpine Type-S 6 3/4" 80wrms at 4ohm also Powering these is a Sony Xplod XM-SD22X giving them 200wrms @ 4ohms The problem is the sub is very quiet even at high volume from the HU, messing with the amp settings doesnt really make much difference until you change the Gain settings, then it just sounds awful! Some goes with the comps. They sounded alot better when they were wired from the existing wiring from the factory speakers. Could it be i need a better HU?
